Environmental and sustainability issues are now more important than ever and it is our view that we should be taking every action possible in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in all areas of our business. 
 
Sealane and its Group companies have long been involved in embracing new technology and new working practices in order to help us and our clients and suppliers to take all practical actions to cut emissions.  The wider transport sector is responsible for approximately 30% of the total of greenhouse gas emissions. Aviation and Maritime transport are outside of our scope of influence at this time, however, we endeavour to work only with suppliers in these sectors who engage in sustainability.
 
Regrettably, many of the sustainability options that we offer involve small increases in door-to-door transport costs and as with all of these areas the more momentum we gain the more we can reduce the cost impact.
 
We are able to offer accurate carbon footprints for existing road transport operations and, further to this, we believe the use of HVO fuel is a practical alternative available today to offer reductions in CO² outputs of up to 90%.
